McCloones Restaurant Opens on the Potomac

DCM is please to announce the Grand Opening of McCloones Restaurant on the Potomac River at National Harbor in Maryland – right on schedule!

Little Silver, NJ – Construction on McLoone’s Pier House, 141 National Plaza, National Harbor, Maryland is running ahead of schedule. An opening is planned for the fourth week in June, which will be just in time to enjoy the summer festivities at National Harbor, a premier waterfront destination.

With a breathtaking sunset view, and located right on the Potomac, McLoone’s Pier House plans to celebrate nature’s daily ritual in music, drink and food both inside and outside on their patio. General Manager Dana Noto states, “Specialty cocktails and distinctive dishes will be offered and our guests will enjoy watching the spectacular sunsets with synchronized music. A countdown clock will be prominently displayed to be sure that no one misses a sunset.”

Executive Chef Pat Taylor, formerly of McLoone’s Pier House in Long Brach, NJ, is putting the finishing touches on a menu that he says will combine the best of The Jersey Shore with the local flavor of Maryland. With an upscale yet casual feel to the offerings, he is confident that it will appeal to the entire family.

Those originally hailing from New Jersey may already be familiar with the McLoone’s brand which is known for offering an exceptional dining experience and quality entertainment in an upscale atmosphere. Tim McLoone, President and founder of McLoone’s Restaurants, was recently asked what inspired him to open a restaurant in Maryland. His response was, “We are eager to expand the McLoone’s concept outside of New Jersey. National Harbor is the perfect venue since it attracts visitors from all over the country”.
